MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Russian economic operators have invested billions of dollars in Venezuela’s energy sector, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) summit, adding that Moscow hopes for continued cooperation.
On behalf of everyone present at the summit the Russian leader thanked Venezuela’s Authorized President Delcy Rodriguez for her remarks.
"I would like to note that Russian economic operators have invested billions of dollars in Venezuela’s energy sector. We hope that this cooperation will continue," Putin said.
Russia is prepared to work with the official authorities of Venezuela, its Venezuelan partners, and representatives of third countries, the Russian leader noted. "We are conducting relevant consultations both with official government structures in Venezuela and with interested companies, including those from other, third countries, I should emphasize," he said.
