BERLIN, September 29. /TASS/. President Vladimir Putin is a strong, seasoned political leader for Russia, exactly what the world needs, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at a press conference in Berlin.
"As a statesman and Russia's leader, President Putin is the most acceptable political figure for Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, and, in my view, for Europe and the entire world, strange as that may sound to us," he said.
"I know him very well. He has the qualities most needed to lead a major country with a complex history and its own understanding of the strategic goals it faces," Tokayev added.
