Abderrahim Fakir lying on the ground near a staircase leading from the garden to the garages of via Svevo in Bologna, in a confused state. This is shown in a video published by La7's news broadcast and filmed by a resident, which documents the moments before the 42-year-old was restrained, who later died on the asphalt.

At the time of the video, the police are already present and an officer can be heard addressing Fakir from a distance, telling him "you need to calm down," and the man silences him. The police then intervene when the Moroccan man lunges at a man who is parking his car in the garages.

Other footage, filmed from above by people living on the street and shown by TgrRai Emilia-Romagna, frames the 42-year-old in the same position, lying down, without shoes, shouting and moving on the asphalt.
