A woman was robbed by two men in a horse-drawn carriage in Ferraz de Vasconcelos, in the greater São Paulo metropolitan area.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday (25th), at around 4 a.m., on Rua Josephina Fregonese Cauvilla, in the Vila Jamil neighborhood.

Footage circulating on social media shows the men arriving with the carriage and cornering the victim, who was walking on the sidewalk, against a wall.

The victim, a 42-year-old woman, reported that the criminals took her backpack and cell phone before fleeing, according to the SSP (Secretaria da Segurança Pública — Public Security Secretariat).

The case was reported as a street robbery at the municipality's main police station and is being investigated by the Civil Police.

No one has been identified or arrested so far.
