Sydney Roosters stunningly withdraw contract offer to halfback Sam Walker

In short:

The Sydney Roosters have announced that they have pulled their contact extension offer to halfback Sam Walker.

Walker won a premiership for the Roosters this year, while also making his State of Origin debut for Queensland, and international debut for Australia.

What's next?

If he is unable to revisit contract talks with the Roosters, he will be the most sought-after half in the game after November 1.
