"I experienced my parents' separation badly." This is how Chanel Totti, in her first television interview, airing Saturday, September 19th in the first episode of the new season of Verissimo on Canale 5 from 4:30 PM, "speaks to Silvia Toffanin about one of the most delicate moments of her life and the way she experienced, as a daughter, the separation between Francesco Totti and Ilary Blasi," a press release explains.

A period made even more difficult by the intense media attention surrounding her family: "On social media and out and about, people talked a lot, saying mean things or things that perhaps weren't true." She adds: "What we went through, only we know."

From the separation to a new chapter in her mother's life: when asked by Silvia Toffanin how she experienced the recent marriage between Ilary Blasi and businessman Bastian Müller, Chanel replies: "If she's happy, so am I. That's the most important thing, that's all I want."

During the interview, Chanel also recounts when, as a young child, she began to realize the significance of the surname she carried: "As a little girl I felt watched because I was 'someone's daughter.' Many times I felt uncomfortable." She confesses: "I would always start new sports with a friend I already knew, to feel more protected."

Finally, regarding her future, Chanel reveals: "I would love to become a mother young so I can have the kind of bond I have with mine, with just a few years' difference so we can grow up together."

Verissimo returns with its double weekend appointment: among Saturday September 19th's guests are also Riccardo Scamarcio, awarded Best Actor at the last Venice Film Festival in the Orizzonti section for I figli della scimmia; Fabio Maria Damato, former right-hand man to Chiara Ferragni, "who will speak for the first time on television about his story and will tell his side of the so-called 'Pandoro gate'," the release explains; writer Mauro Corona, for his book 'Felice'; and Sabrina Soussi, one of the lead figures from the last edition of Temptation Island. Sunday September 20th's guests will include: Ilary Blasi, who married businessman Bastian Müller on September 13th and is airing on Canale 5 with the new season of Grande Fratello Vip, accompanied by the reality show's commentators Cesara Buonamici and Selvaggia Lucarelli; Emanuele Filiberto; Alessandra Mussolini, set to make her debut as a commentator on the new edition of the dating show Uomini e Donne; champion diver Chiara Pellacani, who made history with her 5 gold medals at the last European Championships in Paris 2026.
