"The 2027 Budget Law can help create the conditions to transform a portion of the large stock of private and pension savings into productive investments. Structural and stable incentives for capitalization are needed, along with measures capable of fostering the meeting between savings and business," says Angelo Camilli, Confindustria's vice president for credit, finance and taxation, who, participating in the conference "Savings and Business: New Trajectories for Growth" at Luiss, points out: "We have estimated that by directing to the domestic economy 1% of household savings currently held in current accounts and deposits and 2.5% of pension funds' resources, it would be possible to activate a flow of around 25 billion euros: a genuine budget measure."
