Melbourne hit by sixth consecutive night of arson attacks
In short:
A vehicle fire at Taylors Lakes, in Melbourne's north-western suburbs, has marked the sixth consecutive evening of firebombings across the Victorian capital.
In a separate incident, a man was arrested in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs following a fire at Oakleigh South.
Deakin University criminologist James Martin says the recent string of firebombings could be related to Victoria's crackdown on the illegal tobacco trade.
