Roman actor and director Christian De Sica returns to Rai fiction after the success of the hugely popular series from over twenty years ago, Zio d'America, in which he played the nobleman Massimo Riccardi, aired over two seasons (the first from October 20 to December 8, 2002, and the second from October 30 to November 14, 2006).

Now, De Sica himself announces via a post and a story on his social media channels the start of filming on September 21 for a three-part miniseries to air in prime time. He will play a down-and-out nobleman who, forced by necessity to make a virtue of his circumstances, tries to recover from financial crisis. He will decide to transform his castle into a bed & breakfast, setting off a series of hilarious adventures.

The entrepreneurial venture will indeed find the nobleman completely unprepared, leading to all manner of chaos inside the B&B. The title is Super Host and it will arrive on Rai1 in 2027.
