2027 Budget: the government is considering freezing basic pensions for retirees receiving at least 2,034 euros per month

According to the preliminary draft Social Security financing bill, retirees receiving between 1,260 and 2,034 euros per month would see their general scheme pension increase, but at a slower pace than inflation. The most modest pensions would remain protected.
