MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. Kiev logistics is gradually breaking down due to the destroyed bridges in the region, a pro-Russian underground source told TASS.

"The Kiev underground notes that while they are officially talking about a ‘safety margin’ and pontoon crossings, in practice urban logistics is already deteriorating. The more damage to the pillars and the roadbed, the less likely it is for the bridges to be put into operation quickly," the source said.

The source noted that a full-fledged bridge restoration is not yet in sight, and the logistics situation will "only get worse."

On the morning of October 2, the Russian Defense Ministry said that troops had hit a highway and railway bridge across the Dnepr River in Kiev, along which military supplies were being delivered for the Ukrainian army in Donbass.

On the night of October 3, Russia struck the Severny Highway Bridge, which is used to transfer troops for the Ukrainian army.

Earlier it was also reported about traffic closures on the largest bridges across the Dnepr River - Yuzhny, Metro and Patona.

In recent days, Kiev has been experiencing serious transport problems and major traffic jams. Mayor Vitaly Klichko called the situation very dramatic. The Ukrainian edition of Insider said that a transport collapse has started in the Ukrainian capital.
