Savings verified on the PNRR account for the bulk of the funding for the decree that exempted small and medium-displacement cars and motorcycles from road tax in 2027. This amounts to 1.698 billion out of the total of approximately 2.3 billion for the measure. Specifically, 200 million has been allocated for this year, 1.460 billion for 2027 and 38 million for 2028. The resources are indicated in a table attached to the decree — which, published in the Official Gazette, takes effect from tomorrow — with entries for individual PNRR measure codes.
Article 7, containing the resources to fund the decree, also provides for the use and remodulation of funds in a highly fragmented manner across numerous ministries.
