Statute of limitations on crimes against minors, rejection of life sentences for serial rapists… MPs amend the child protection bill

A government measure aimed at introducing life imprisonment for serial rapes of children under 15 was rejected. It will be put to a vote again on Tuesday July 21, just before the final vote on the bill as a whole.
