DOHA, October 2. /TASS/. Yemen’s rebel Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement claimed that the Saudi-led coalition had delivered new strikes on Yemen’s capital Sana’a and three other regions of the country, the Houthi-controlled SABA news agency reported.

Apart from the capital, strikes were reportedly delivered on the provinces of Amran, Saada and Taiz. No information on casualties or damage is available at this point.

Earlier, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said that over the past 24 hours, Saudi warplanes delivered 47 missile strikes on civilian facilities in the provinces of Saada, Taiz and Al-Jawf. On Thursday, the Arab coalition’s official spokesman, Turki al-Maliki, said that on September 29, the rebel movement staged a drone attack on a power plant in Saudi Arabial’s Medina. The Houthis denied the reports. Besides, the alliance said that Saudi air defense systems intercepted two ballistic missiles over the cities of Jizan and Khamis Mushait, and downed four drones that flying towards Khamis Mushait.
