WASHINGTON, October 25. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump has praised the agreement with Russia on diesel fuel supplies.
"They didn't give us oil; they gave the oil to the world, and that was a very good thing," he told reporters at Andrews Air Force Base before leaving for Michigan.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said earlier that under the diesel deal, Russia is prepared to deliver as much diesel fuel to the United States as it needs.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held a phone call on October 9, during which they discussed, among other things, petroleum product supplies. The Russian president said that Moscow had reiterated its readiness to supply oil and petroleum products to the United States and global markets.
