Cooper Bai heals rift with father Marcus while edging closer to PNG Chiefs signing
In short:
Cooper Bai's father Marcus has explained how the pair have moved past a rift that fractured their family over a previous contractual decision from the 19-year-old.
Marcus, a rugby league legend in PNG, was angered when his son rejected the Melbourne Storm to remain with the Gold Coast Titans.
What's next?
Cooper is high on the list of the Chiefs' targets and has been granted permission to explore his options ahead of the opening of the November 1 contracting window.
