"In didactic terms the issue is well-founded and shareable, but it is difficult to find a technical solution." This is explained to ANSA by Antonello Giannelli, president of the National Association of Headteachers (Anp), speaking about the cap on foreign students in classrooms, as indicated by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. "Schools must accept enrolments from children in the local area, especially for nursery and primary schools," and "if in that area the majority of residents are foreigners, what do we do? Do we turn them away?" This is why the circular setting a 30% cap "has not been able to be implemented."
