A "ban on free camping extended to the entire territory of the Municipality of Venaus" effective today "until 7am on Monday, 3 August" is contained in a new order issued by the prefect of Turin. The order stems from the fact that "the march that took place on the afternoon of Saturday, 25 July 2026, within the framework of the Festival dell'Alta Felicità, a demonstration organised against the expansion of the construction sites of the TAV railway line set up in the Susa Valley, in which thousands of people from abroad also took part, originated precisely from the Venaus campsite."
