VIENNA, October 22. /TASS/. Since late April, a major campaign has been under way to intimidate the staff of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), Russia’s Permanent Representative to the Vienna-based international organizations Mikhail Ulyanov said.

"Since late April, in essence, a hunt has been launched against ZNPP personnel by the Ukrainan armed forces," he told an international video conference at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) about Ukraine’s attempts to terrorize the Zaporozhye Region.

"People in the [Energodar] district, including ZNPP personnel, is subjected to constant assaults and intimidation," the Russian diplomat continued. "The Ukrainians have specialized websites that directly target the facility’s personnel, including women, with threats of reprisal. There is a lot to say about this, and all these facts are quite sickening, but we are constantly trying to bring them to the attention of the global community."

Ulyanov went on to say that Russia has been publishing information bulletins about events in Energodar on a regular basis. The IAEA Secretariat also issues similar reports, including when its inspectors have an opportunity to survey the scene of an incident.

"Unfortunately, this does not always happen, but the IAEA staff register facts of attacks and their consequences quite regularly," he added.
