Love Sober is the new single by German singer-songwriter Kamrad, released on radio and digital platforms on Friday, July 31. The track follows recent singles including I Believe, Be Mine — which has surpassed 50 million streams on Spotify — and Hug Yourself.
The "day after" described in the lyrics is not a phase of depression, but rather a moment of liberation. The headache fades, thoughts become clear again, and the end turns into a new beginning. The driving force of the track is the electric bass line, combined with acoustic guitars and electric funk-style strumming (the typical North European indie-pop "strumming"). The singer and songwriter from Velbert achieved major international success in 2022 with the track I Believe, which became a viral phenomenon in European charts with over 300 million streams and numerous gold and platinum certifications.
In 2024 he embarked on a tour across seven countries, performing at major festivals such as SWR3 New Pop, the Glücksgefühle Festival and Primavera Sound in Barcelona, and also taking part as a coach on The Voice of Germany.
