The fall of three lightning bolts caused, yesterday evening in Monteriggioni (Siena), the collapse of a tree and two fires: a cypress tree near some homes caught fire, as did an electrical panel. This is what was learned from the firefighters, who carried out three interventions following the storm that hit the municipality in the Siena area yesterday evening.
The cypress fire also required the intervention of a water tanker for subsequent cleanup operations. No people were involved.
