MOSCOW, October 23. /TASS/. Russia has already dispatched the first three tankers with diesel fuel to the Atlantic East Coast, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

"The first three tankers with fuel are already on their way to the Atlantic East Coast, with serious support from the RDIF (Russian Direct Investment Fund - TASS)," he told reporters.

Novak told TASS earlier that Russia is lifting its ban on diesel exports ahead of schedule and is ready to supply 300,000 tons of diesel in October, increasing the volume to 500,000 tons in November and 1 million tons in December. Monthly supplies could subsequently reach 3 million tons.

He also said that Russia and the United States are completing the process of signing contracts for diesel fuel supplies. The first tanker with 40,000 tons of Russian diesel fuel reportedly sailed off for the United States on October 22.
