The twenty-year-old of Egyptian origin accused of aggravated sexual violence against a twelve-year-old, which occurred last Friday in a park on the northern outskirts of Turin, has confessed. During the night, in front of investigators, he admitted to what the minor had reported, adding that at the time of the events he was under the influence of drugs.
The young man, detained by investigators from the Mobile Squad of the Turin Police Headquarters, led by Davide Corazzini, and by officers from the Barriera Nizza police station, is homeless and has a prior criminal record for property crimes. According to well-informed sources, he was subject to a reporting obligation, but since Friday, the day of the assault, he had no longer been showing up to sign in.
