FIFA is preparing a financial breakthrough set to change the economic model of world football. According to revelations by the Financial Times, the international federation is reportedly considering the sale of a significant minority stake in a new commercial company, valued at around 20 billion dollars, in order to attract outside investors and convert into liquidity the financial success stemming from the last World Cup.

FIFA, the London-based financial daily reports, has allegedly tasked US investment bank JPMorgan with overseeing the operation, with the goal of placing approximately 20% of the new entity on the market, raising several billion dollars.
