Russia’s MOEX and RTS indices added 0.22% to 2,497.92 and 975.39 points, respectively, as the main trading session started on Friday, according to trading data as of 9:00 a.m. Moscow time (6:00 a.m. GMT). The yuan exchange rate against the ruble gained 2.25 kopecks compared to previous closing to 12.223 rubles.
By 9:17 a.m. Moscow time (6:17 a.m. GMT), the indices had moved to negative territory, reaching 2,487.35 (-0.2%), and 971.25 points (-0.2%). Meanwhile, the yuan exchange rate was up by 1.15 kopecks at 12.212 rubles.
The MOEX Index added 0.24% as morning trading session started on the Moscow Exchange as of 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 a.m. GMT) to 2,498.28 points.
