MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Over the past four years, Russia has made a technological leap forward in the development of unmanned aircraft and has become one of the key players in this field, President of the National Research Center Kurchatov Institute Mikhail Kovalchuk said.

"Four years ago, we practically had no unmanned aviation, so to speak. We had no drones. <…> But today, we are among the key players in this field," he noted.

According to Kovalchuk, the rapid development of unmanned technologies demonstrates Russia’s high mobilization capabilities.
