RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande has reached an agreement with Real Madrid after Paris Saint-Germain withdrew from the bidding war that had developed over the player. The Parisian club had seen a final offer of £102.5 million (€120 million) rejected for the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international. Real Madrid then reached an agreement with the player on contract terms, modelled on the deal held by English midfielder Jude Bellingham, with performance-related incentives set to grow over time.
Real Madrid's offer to the German club is therefore expected to have exceeded the French one, making it one of the most expensive transfers of all time. Diomande had joined Leipzig from Leganés last summer on a five-year contract. He was named the best young player in the Bundesliga in the 2025-26 season, with 12 goals and eight assists to his name.
