MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. Air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 330 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions and the Black Sea overnight, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.

Part of Crimea has been left without power due to a drone attack. A 16-year-old teenager was injured when a drone dropped an explosive device on the settlement of Pogar in Russia’s western Bryansk Region.

Attack scale

- On-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a total of 330 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Russian regions between 8:00 p.m. Moscow time (5:00 p.m. GMT) on September 30 and 8:00 a.m. Moscow time (5:00 a.m. GMT) on October 1, the Defense Ministry reported.

- According to the ministry, drones were downed over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Smolensk, Kaluga, Tula, Kursk, Tver, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov, Astrakhan and Moscow Regions, the Republic of Crimea and the waters of the Black Sea.

- As many as 22 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed over the Tula Region overnight, Governor Dmitry Milyayev said on his Max channel.

- Air defense systems shot down 20 Ukrainian drones over the Oryol Region overnight, Governor Andrey Klychkov wrote in a post on his Max channel.

- Air defense forces intercepted 13 Ukrainian UAVs over the Kaluga Region overnight, Governor Vladislav Shapsha reported on his Max channel.

- According to Shapsha, drones were brought down over the Borovsky, Dzerzhinsky, Zhukovsky, Kirovsky, Maloyaroslavetsky and Ferzikovksy municipal districts.

Aftermath

- Ukrainian drones struck energy facilities in Crimea, the Krymenergo state company said in a post on its Max channel.

- Several settlements have been left without electricity.

- The situation with the peninsula’s uninterrupted power supply remains difficult.

- Energy specialists are working around the clock to restore the power grid.

- A 16-year-old teenager was injured when a drone dropped an explosive device on the settlement of Pogar in the Bryansk Region, and was taken to hospital, Governor Yegor Kovalchuk wrote on his Max channel.

- In addition, a kamikaze drone struck a moving bus in the community of Klimovo in the Bryansk Region.

- The driver was wounded and transported to hospital.

- The Miratorg agricultural holding also came under a large-scale drone attack.

- Drones destroyed nine pieces of equipment and damaged another 13.

- No employees were injured.
