PYONGYANG, October 13. /TASS/. North Korea’s Missile Administration conducted a test launch of a tactical ballistic missile to verify a technically upgraded key component, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
"The technical upgrade of the key component, confirmed today, is a major success," the DPRK Missile Administration stated.
According to KCNA, the modernization is expected to lead to significant improvements in the power and accuracy of North Korea’s offensive weapons systems. The agency did not specify which component of the missile was upgraded.
The test took place on October 12 as part of regular work by the DPRK Missile Administration and its subordinate research institutes aimed at improving weapons systems.
