GENICHESK, October 7. /TASS/. The situation in the Kherson Region city of Alyoshki is not so critical as to warrant the uproar stirred up at international organizations, Governor Vladimir Saldo said at a briefing.

On September 27, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga had used the rostrum of the UN General Assembly to spread cynical lies about the situation in Alyoshki.

"We generally see in any situation: the UN and other organizations that supposedly stand on the principles of civil society, objectivity, freedom of speech and a clear information policy, don't want to notice all the positive things that are happening in Russia. If they do notice, they prefer to remain silent. But you still have to say something, then they look for reasons, even if there are none, as in this case, which we are talking about. There is no reason for this uproar. It would be better to offer some specifics," said Saldo.
