The board members will also review the development of gas transmission infrastructure, gas supply systems, and regional gasification efforts in Eastern Siberia and the Russian Far East, including power generation facilities. Additionally, they will assess progress on the development and deployment of digital modeling, artificial intelligence, and other advanced digital technologies across gas exploration, production, transportation, and processing operations.
Furthermore, at a subsequent meeting on October 22, the Board will examine global development prospects for the shale gas and LNG sectors, including the associated opportunities and threats for Gazprom, as well as progress in implementing a socially oriented and cost-effective domestic gasification and gas supply system.
Gazprom previously provided a conservative initial estimate for the parent company's 2026 investments at 1.1 trillion rubles ($12.9 bln). This figure typically increases after the Board of Directors approves revised versions of the investment program and budget.
