MOSCOW, October 23. /TASS/. An increase in export revenues linked to the rise in commodity prices backed the ruble in recent months, Governor of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina said at the press conference after the Board meeting.

"The increase in export revenues in recent months, associated with the growth of oil and other commodity prices, supported the ruble rate," she said.

The effect of the international prices situation is constrained by the fiscal rule action, Nabiullina added.
