Bologna wakes up wounded. The urban guerrilla warfare in the very heart of the city, just a few steps from Piazza Maggiore, continued until late last night, with a pocket of activists who kept throwing objects at police officers until well past midnight, while also devastating the city centre by hurling chairs from outdoor terraces and vandalising bicycles from the bike-sharing service. At least one municipal vehicle was set on fire, forcing the fire brigade to intervene. Firefighters also rushed to Via Monte Grappa, where a flare had caught fire in a courtyard.
