The third leg of a roadshow dedicated to taxation, social security and digital services for businesses, workers and new generations took place in Parma, at the auditorium of the Barilla Innovation & Technology Experience. The event was born from a collaboration between the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle entrate) and the National Social Security Institute (Inps).
It served as an opportunity for dialogue and exchange with the local business community. In Parma, at the opening of proceedings, institutional greetings from Barilla were delivered by Daniele Galimberti, Group Tax Vice President, and Andrea Belli, PR & Media Relations Italy Director. They were followed by Danila D'Eramo, Regional Director of the Agenzia delle entrate for Emilia-Romagna, Francesco Ricci, Regional Director of Inps, Antonio Zaffino, Provincial Director of the Agenzia delle entrate, and Alessandra Zanotti, Provincial Director of Inps.
During the meeting, a series of in-depth sessions were led by experts from the Agenzia delle entrate and Inps: in particular, the main digital services and contact channels available to users were presented. Among the topics explored by Inps experts were those related to pension systems, social security prospects and supplementary pension provision. Particular attention was paid to services and digital channels aimed at businesses.
This meeting marks a further strengthening of the collaboration between Barilla and the Agenzia delle entrate. Nearly 10 years ago, Barilla was admitted to the Cooperative Compliance scheme, following the Agenzia delle entrate's assessment that its Tax Control Framework — its tax risk management model — was fully adequate. With its admission to this scheme, Barilla reaffirms its identity as a company that is transparent towards all its corporate stakeholders, and strengthens a relationship of trust and cooperation with the tax authorities through ongoing, transparent and preventive dialogue.
