MOSCOW, October 22. /TASS/. Russia is drafting a development strategy for the theater industry, President Vladimir Putin said.
"Russia’s State Cultural Policy Strategy is in effect through 2030. Development strategies have already been adopted for librarianship and the creative industries. A similar document will also be prepared for the theater industry," he said at a congress of the Union of Theater Workers.
Putin stressed that it was crucial to ensure the document was substantive and effective so that it could help coordinate the efforts of the government, society and theater workers to address development and creative growth challenges.
