For tomorrow evening's early kick-off in Monza, Sassuolo will not be able to count on defender Jay Idzes due to a moderate-grade injury to the quadriceps of his left leg. In his place, Duje Caleta-Car is ready, having been seen on the pitch in the final minutes of Sassuolo - Juventus and a candidate to occupy the central area of the defence.
On the subject of the defensive department, the club has announced that it has extended Simone Cinquegrano's contract until 2032. Returning to tomorrow's match, a starting shirt is possible for Adzic, scorer of the goal that beat Juventus, with the possible exclusion of Lipani and the confirmation of Thorstvedt (alternatively Bakola). In attack, in the usual 4-3-3 formation, Berardi and Laurienté are certain starters, with Sebastiano Esposito favoured over Kieron Bowie. Volpato remains absent.
