MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. Prices for Russian gas to be supplied to non-CIS countries excluding deliveries to China could exceed $700 per 1,000 cubic meters between August and December 2026, according to files to the draft federal budget for 2027-2029 seen by TASS. The document has been uploaded to the lower house of parliament’s electronic database.
According to the baseline forecast, the price of gas supplied to non-CIS countries excluding China will total $701.9 per 1,000 cubic meters in August-December of this year, bringing it to $562 for FY 2026 compared to $406.5 in the previous year.
The price is expected at $450 in 2027, $361.9 in 2028, and $323.2 in 2029.
According to the conservative forecast, the price of gas supplied to non-CIS countries excluding China will total $400 in 2027, $311.9 in 2028, and $273.2 in 2029.
Regarding gas prices for markets outside the CIS including China, they are projected at $402.9 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2026 (compared to $324 in 2025), $341.1 in 2027, $289 in 2028, and $272.5 in 2029, according to the files. The conservative forecast projects prices of $311.8 in 2027, $263.3 in 2028, and $247.8 in 2029.
