EA7 Milano completes its roster: the club officially announces the signing of Moses Wright and is waiting to announce Garrison Mathews. "I'm excited about this new chapter in my career," were Wright's first words on the club's website. "I can't wait to meet all the Olimpia fans and come to play in Milan. I know I'm coming to a beautiful city, rich in culture, and I'm also happy to get to work for Olimpia. Together we can make special things happen this year." Curious is the way in which Wright, coming off a season averaging 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds at Zalgiris, landed in Milan on a two-year contract: the player had been in talks with Barcelona for months, but the difficulties of the Catalan club — which had meanwhile poached Josh Nebo from Milan itself through a half-million buyout — convinced the 28-year-old American center to embrace Olimpia's project following a blitz by sporting director Daniele Baiesi. In the coming days, Mathews will be announced as the final piece for Peppe Poeta's team: he will take the place of league and Finals MVP Armoni Brooks.
