International tensions are driving fuel prices up again and, with them, the cost of everything that travels by road. Faced with this price increase, which we did not cause but must manage, we decided to act immediately: today the Council of Ministers approved, by decree, an immediate cut on diesel, the fuel that weighs most heavily on transport, agriculture and the prices every family pays.
We know it doesn't solve the problem. But it is a prompt and responsible response, taking into account the limited resources we have and an ever-changing international landscape." So stated on social media the President of the Council Giorgia Meloni.
