MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. Delegations from 11 countries unfriendly to Russia will take part in the 12th St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova told TASS in an interview ahead of the event.
"This year, there are 11 [unfriendly countries]. However, we traditionally do not name them to prevent sanctions from being imposed on our colleagues. These are countries we know well that continue to maintain contacts with our cultural institutions and representatives, as well as participate in discussions and debates on the most difficult issues, including sovereignty and cultural sovereignty," the deputy prime minister said.
Golikova specified that a total of 70 countries and 44 official delegations are expected to participate in the forum.
The St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum will take place from September 24 to 26. The forum will feature 10 thematic sessions. TASS is the forum’s general information partner.
