A good part has been done, but several pieces are still missing to complete the mosaic of appointments in state-owned companies. Out of 118 boards of directors and 96 boards of statutory auditors to be renewed this year across 155 state-owned companies, both at first and second level, for a total of 842 positions, there are at least more than sixty slots still to be filled. This is what emerges from the latest update by the Comar Observatory.
This week should see the last missing piece on the front of direct subsidiaries, that of Sogin, the company responsible for decommissioning nuclear plants and securing radioactive waste from decommissioned power stations. For the 134 indirect subsidiaries, however, there is still work to be done: the indications for the boards of directors of Rfi and Trenitalia will almost certainly come after the summer break, with the latter's CEO, moreover, having moved to the top of the Ferrovie dello Stato group following the resignation of Stefano Antonio Donnarumma. On the front of the regulatory authorities, with the leadership of Antitrust and Consob now complete, in September the presidency of Giuseppe Busia at Anac will expire, as will that of board members Consuelo del Balzo, Laura Valli, Luca Forteleoni and Paolo Giacomazzo. At the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, one member of the board still needs to be renewed, with the current board currently sitting at three out of four members.
