Caixa Econômica Federal will draw contest 3059 of Mega-Sena starting at 9 p.m. this Thursday (17). The main prize is estimated to reach R$ 102 million.
The draw will take place at Espaço da Sorte, on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo, with a live broadcast on Caixa's YouTube and Facebook channels. Folha will publish the drawn numbers shortly after.
A simple Mega-Sena bet costs R$ 6. For Tuesday and Thursday draws, bets can be placed until 8 p.m. at lottery outlets, on the Loterias Online portal and on the Loterias Caixa app. The exception applies to digital group bets, which can be purchased until 8:30 p.m. exclusively through the Loterias Online portal and the app.
For Sunday draws, bets can be placed until 10 p.m. on the previous Saturday. For digital group bets, entries close at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday — the draw takes place starting at 11 a.m.
The probability of winning for someone placing a six-number bet (costing R$ 6) on Mega-Sena is one in more than 50 million. With a seven-number bet (costing R$ 42), the odds improve to one in 7.1 million.
HOW TO PLAY
Via website
- Access the Loterias Online website
- Confirm you are over 18. Then click "access" in the upper right corner. If it is your first time, register. Otherwise, log in using your CPF and password
- Scroll down and, under the Mega-Sena option, click the "Bet Now!" icon
- Choose the numbers you want to bet on. Indicate whether you want to bet with more numbers and whether you want to activate the quick pick and/or repeat bet options
- When you are done, click "add to cart" just below
- Payment can be made by Pix, credit card or Recargapay
- Follow the payment instructions and confirm your purchase
- After the draw, go to the website, log in and click "my account"
- Then click "bets" and then "check bets"
- If you have won, the prize you will receive and the withdrawal procedures will appear
Via app
- Download the Loterias Caixa app, available for free on Android and iOS
- After the introduction, log in or register
- On the home screen, find Mega-Sena and click "bet"
- Select the desired numbers and indicate whether you want to use more numbers and whether you intend to activate the repeat bet and quick pick options
- When finished, select "add to bet cart" at the bottom of the screen
- If you want to place another bet, repeat the above procedure. When done, click "bet cart"
- Review your bets and, if everything is correct, go to "proceed to payment method"
- Payment can be made by Pix, credit card or Recargapay
- Follow the payment instructions and confirm your purchase
- After the draw, open the app. Open the menu by clicking the button in the upper left corner and choose "my area" and then "my bets." This section will show whether you have won or not
Via Internet Banking
- If you have a Caixa account, access the Internet Banking platform with your login and password
- Click on lotteries
- Choose Mega-Sena and then bet (the limit for this form of betting is R$ 500 per day, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., the deadline for closing bets)
- Select the quantity of numbers for your game (from 6 to 9 per card)
- Choose your numbers and click "add bet"
- If you wish, repeat this operation to complete three bets and then click "finish"
- Then simply enter the six digits of your electronic password to confirm payment
- Afterwards, just go back to the lottery home screen and click on "my bets" to confirm the games played.
