A special and certainly original welcome for Vincenzo Italiano on his debut on the Besiktas bench: yesterday evening, right after the 4-1 victory over Marseille in the Europa League, the stadium loudspeakers blasted "L'italiano," the hit by Toto Cotugno, and the crowd paid tribute to the newly appointed manager of the Turkish club. The former Fiorentina and Bologna coach has already become an idol of his new fans: during an interview, he sang the most famous chant of Besiktas supporters, sparking their enthusiasm. The response was immediate.
