Malaysia’s TuJu app struggles after Anwar suggests switching from Waze

The surge in users comes after the prime minister suggested using a local navigation app instead of Waze because of security concerns

In a statement on Thursday, the Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) said the matter was being resolved together with the application provider Prosignal Consortium.

“We apologise for the inconvenience caused, and efforts are under way to identify the cause of the disruptions, restore system stability and improve the application’s capacity to accommodate more users,” the statement added.
