Ahmad Abdelghani, the Egyptian man arrested for the murder of Alessio Borelli, who was found dead on July 11 in Corsico, had a few days earlier attacked some City Angels with a knife and had attempted to steal a weapon from a Carabiniere, shouting "Allahu Akbar." This is what is reported in the arrest warrant for the man who, due to this incident — which dates back to July 6 — had been placed under a prohibition of residence in Milan and its province. His arrest had been validated on charges of resisting a public official and causing bodily harm.
For the murder of Borelli, Abdelghani faces the aggravating circumstance "of having committed the act by abusing hospitality and of having committed the act against a person with whom he had been linked by an affective relationship." Borelli was struck by at least six stab wounds and was then suffocated with a scarf, which is why his hyoid bone was fractured.
