MOSCOW, October 22. /TASS/. Trilateral talks involving Moscow, Washington and Kiev will focus on ensuring the security of Russia and Ukraine after a peace agreement is reached, Russian President Vladimir Putin told Vesti journalist Pavel Zarubin.
According to Putin, Russia has agreed with the US to resume trilateral negotiations on Ukraine.
"The goal of these talks will be to discuss ways to ensure security for Ukraine and Russia after peace agreements are reached, and those should be final agreements and not some temporary ceasefire deals. We are ready to resume these consultations to achieve this goal," Putin said.
