LONDON, October 31. /TASS/. A rally in support of Palestine Action, a pro-Palestinian group banned in the UK, is underway outside the US Embassy in London, a TASS correspondent reports.
Hundreds of demonstrators, many of retirement age, are taking part. They staged a sit-in in front of the embassy, carrying banners reading "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action." Some activists are wearing Halloween costumes.
The demonstration comes ahead of UK Supreme Court hearings next week on the group’s appeal against its ban. US authorities also imposed sanctions on Palestine Action in August.
