CAIRO, October 26. /TASS/. Egypt’s House of Representatives, the lower house of parliament, has approved military aid to Saudi Arabia, according to state television channel Al-Qahera Al-Ekhbariya.
It said this concerns "support in defense-related matters." No other details were provided.
According to Article 152 of the Egyptian constitution, the declaring of war and sending the army on foreign missions is discussed by the country’s National Defense Council and the House of Representatives.
The Egyptian National Defense Council approved aid to Saudi Arabia on October 18.
