The state of São Paulo is expected to have a Thursday (17th) of low temperatures and overcast skies. Isolated rainfall may still occur in some regions, but instability is expected to decrease on Friday (18th), according to Inmet (National Institute of Meteorology). The state Civil Defense has not issued any weather alert for the date.
In the capital, the forecast indicates cloudy skies, the possibility of drizzle during the day and at night, and temperatures between 12°C and 17°C. Despite the drizzle, no significant rainfall volume is expected.
On Friday, the sun should appear among many clouds, and temperatures are expected to range from 14°C to 22°C. There is also no forecast of accumulated rainfall. The city had already experienced light rain and a maximum temperature of 18°C on Wednesday (16th).
On the northern coast, Ubatuba can expect heavy cloud cover and the possibility of drizzle on Thursday, with a low of 15°C and a high of 18°C. On Friday, temperatures should range from 15°C to 20°C, still under overcast skies. According to the city government, high humidity and winds blowing from the ocean toward the continent may keep the possibility of light rain through Friday.
In the Baixada Santista region, Santos may experience light rain on Thursday, with temperatures between 17°C and 20°C. On Friday, temperatures will range from 15°C to 22°C, with heavy cloud cover, the forecast shows.
The interior is expecting higher temperatures. In Campinas, Thursday should bring sunshine among many clouds, with a low of 14°C and a high of 23°C. On Friday, temperatures may range from 16°C to 25°C.
For Presidente Epitácio, in western São Paulo, even warmer conditions are forecast. Temperatures will range between 16°C and 26°C on Thursday. On Friday, the high could reach 29°C, with a low of 17°C.
According to Inmet, the moisture channel sustaining areas of instability in the Southeast will lose strength on Friday. The change should reduce the possibility of rain across the state, although eastern São Paulo may still experience cloudiness and instability.
