Fratelli d'Italia gains ground, while PD and M5S decline. Roberto Vannacci's Futuro Nazionale continues to rise and closes in on Forza Italia. AVS is the only opposition party showing a positive sign. These are the highlights of the Swg poll, which for Tg La7 captures voting intentions in the event of elections held yesterday, Monday, July 27.
Fratelli d'Italia, still the leading party, gains 0.1% and reaches 27%. The party led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni widens its lead over the PD of secretary Elly Schlein. The Democrats lose 0.2% and slip to 20.9%. A similar decline for Giuseppe Conte's Movimento 5 Stelle, now at 12.9%. Forza Italia loses 0.1% and now stands at 7.6%. Futuro Nazionale continues to grow: Vannacci's party gains another 0.2% and settles at 6.9%, pulling ahead of Verdi e Sinistra, which grows by 0.1% to reach 6.5%. A step forward also for Matteo Salvini's Lega, from 5.5% to 5.7%.
Further behind are Carlo Calenda's Azione (3.4%) and Matteo Renzi's Italia Viva (2.3%). They are followed by +Europa (1.2%), Noi Moderati (1%), Sud chiama Nord (1%) and Ora! (1%).
